Nashville via Atlanta, Austin and Dallas

It's been a wild ride these past 6 weeks.  We attended the Crawford conference in Dallas in March then headed to Austin to explore that area until we returned to Dallas for more training.  Within hours of our arrival in Austin Crawford called and asked if we wanted to work in Atlanta.  Uh ... yeah! These pics were all taken in Dallas right after the Dallas conference.

We had a blast in Dallas with Patty and Reb.  They shared all of their cool toys with us ... it was a wonderful weekend!  From there we headed south to Ink's Lake State Park for a couple of nights.  It's in the Hill Country, very beautiful area!

Philoberto is about to explain the entire Atlanta event:

Well,seems that Exxon had a problem with a "batch" of gas at their refinery in Baton Rouge.  Seems they produced a meer 5 million gallons of "bad gas" (that's 529 tanker loads of gas).  The gas was sold in the Baton Rouge area during the month of March and caused all kinds of havoc in people's cars.  Exxon hired Crawford and company to manage the claims.  75 of us sat in cubes and talked to real Louisiana cajuns on the phone dealing with their sometimes real problems and sometimes just simple fraud.  We spent more than 3 million of Exxon's money in 5 weeks and now we're finished!  Very intense 5 weeks, hands down the worst gig we've had, at work at 8 every morning and home by 10 most days.  Worked 7 days a week, missed palm sunday, holy week and even Easter sunday (hard!)... We were in an RV park just 25 miles North of the office but Atlanta traffic required that we leave the RV (and poor Sadie) at 6:30AM and I would drive Anne back around 2:00PM to take care of Sadie each day (another one hour on the road).  Sometimes we were released at 10:00PM and upon my arrival at 10:30PM we'd all go to bed to do it all over again.  Craziness!

That's all for now ... will try to do better blogging from now on.  We're in Nashville and will tour the Music District tomorrow.  Found a really cool Corp of Engineers Park ($20/night) with a huge lake and just took our first family walk in six weeks.  Looking forward to normalcy and seeing ya'll soon!
